William Usborne (Merchant) is recorded as living at No 1 Christopher St.Finsbury Square, London (Kent's Directory of London 1794/97)

How did William come to die aged 40 and Caroline aged 33
leaving two orphaned children aged 11 and 12? No head stone
or local death record can be found at St Andrews.
Were they setting up another branch of the family timber business?
and did they die together in a shipwreck? Enemy action?
