The Mormon
Church publishes a list of recorded Usborne births, deaths and marriages in
England. Of the 242 entries between 1700 and 1900, 229 are from Kent and 13 from
elsewhere. Although we must all have common roots, only 7 are identifiable blood
relatives.
The table below sets out the geographic distribution from our own papers of
identifiable blood relations in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries:

Around 1710 Alexander Usborne (from whom we are all descended) moved to Sussex (Brighton & Lindfield), and the next generation to Hertfordshire (Ware).
