Edward
was educated
at Malvern College and Sandhurst. He spent 25 years in the
army first with the Royal Regiment of Wales and then with the Catering
Corps. He served in UK, N.Ireland and Cyprus, retiring with the rank of
Major. He is now The Castle Administrator for The Castle of Mey, the late Queen Mother's home in Caithness, 6 miles west of John O’Groats. He is vice-chairman of the Strathdearn Community Council. They live at Smithfield, Tomatin, IV13 7YN (Near Inverness), Scotland.
