Esther graduated in psychology at Queens University, Ontario, Canada. She now has masters and PhD from McGill University Quebec.

As a student Esther distinguished herself as an athlete and gymnast winning a silver award for a "high flying layout on vault" in 1999. 

She is now engaged to be married.
