Samuel Usborne                                 Baptised 11th May 1817 at Marden, Kent. Married in 23rd November 1857 to Sarah Finn. Died 1891 in Maidstone district aged 74.

They had no children. Census details show him living with his parents in 1941. In 1851 he was working as a labourer for his cousin John Osborne at Pattenden Farm, Nr Marden. His wife is not shown living with him in 1861 or 1871. In 1871 he was labouring at Church Green Farm. In 1881 he was in the Maidstone Workhouse (formerly Coxheath workhouse) aged 64 and described as a pauper, agricultural labourer listed as "unmarried".
