Mary died between 1841 and 1847.
Second marriage August 14th 1847 in Rochester to 
Ann (nee) Allard who was the widow of Abraham Knell. 
George died July 3rd 1856

George worked as a labourer in 1830 and then, by 1832 and for the rest of his life, as a carrier. In 1841 they were living at Knightrider street, Maidstone. By the time he had married Ann, he was living in Rochester.
Ann was a widow and a staymaker (corset maker). In 1851 they were living 1 Crundswell's Yard, Maidstone, where George worked as the town carrier. (styled as George Usborne & Son). Living with them were Ann's son Abraham Knell and their joint son Henry.
In 1861 as a widow Ann continued to live in Maidstone with her son Kenwood Knell who worked as a cow-keeper.
George and Mary had at least 5 children.

George was imprisoned in Maidstone jail and he took his own life in jail on 3 July 1856. His death record states that George was "not being at the time of sound mind".
