I give to Mary, my wife, all lands and tenements during the term of her natural life, she bringing up my children and keeping the pinifars in good repair and planting apple trees in the room of the cherry trees that got to decay and keeping the hop-ground well planted and well stocked with hop-poles.
I give to my son Alexander all my lands which are situate in the parish of Loose in the said county of Kent.
I give to my son Thomas all my lands and buildings thereupon standing in the parish of East Farleigh.
I give to my son William my land lying near the church green in the parish of Marden.
After all my debts funeral expenses paid and discharged and give and bequeath unto Mary my wife all my personal estate whom I do make sole executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my seal the twentieth day of October in this year of the reign of King James the second over England. Anno domini one thousand six hundred and eighty seven.
