Robert Kenrick Usborne.
Born March 13th 1954.
Married to Gilly in Westminster Abbey.
Died February 18th 2001.

Robert went to Cumnor House School, Danehill and won a scholarship to Eastbourne College. He read Philosophy at Cambridge.

He worked with computers and became a teacher.

He was a founding partner in Osiris Furniture, a company supplying superior office furniture mostly to firms in the City of London.

He died in a tragic skiing accident (avalanche) in the Monashee mountains in British Columbia.

Gilly is Regional Co-ordinator East and Central Africa of Save the Children UK. She shares Robert's passion for skiing.

Simon writes in 2006 "Gilly is no longer working at Save the Children Fund. She had applied to take several months unpaid leave when the charity announced mass redundancies. She now enjoys a life of leisure and probably dreads the time when she’ll have to find new employment".
