Having
studied Physics and Philosophy at Bristol University, Tim
decided on a career in television.
Making
television programmes, he traveled the world from Hong Kong, to
Bombay to Sydney in Australia before settling in London.
Now
he specialises in producing and directing documentary films.
He
has made films for the BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4, Discovery,
National Geographic and many others.
His
past films include ‘Atom’ a history of atomic physics which
was nominated and specially commended at the Grierson Awards,
‘Science and Islam’, a series examining the role of Islam in
the history of science, ‘Genius of Britain’, about British
scientific heroes, ‘The Gene Code’ exploring genomics,
‘Horizon: The Truth About Fat’, ‘The Story of
Electricity‘ and most recently, ‘Micro Monsters 3D’, a
Natural History series about insects, filmed in 3D and presented
by Sir David Attenborough. |
