|William Albert Usborne

Died 26th April 1884 in Spencerport, Monroe County, New York.
Buried in Ogden, Monroe County, N.Y.
|William was orphaned at the
age of seven when his father died.
In 1871 he was living in East Farleigh, Kent at the Union Workhouse School where he was a pauper student.
In 1881 he was living at Green Hill House, Wrotham, Kent with his brother George and working as a carpenter. It was at this time that he changed his name from Usborne to Osborne.
In 1883 he moved to USA with his brother Harry and family. They arrived at New York harbour on 14th of May 1883 aboard the "Holland" and settled in Ogden, Monroe Co. NY. where his brothers Edward and Stephen were living. William most likely lived with Stephen at his Chambers Street Farm working as a carpenter. He was unmarried when he died in 1884 of tuberulosis.
