Rebecca Usborne                                
Baptised December 15th 1822 in Marden, Kent.
She died January/March 1909.
Rebecca was living in Marden in 1841. In 1846 she had an illegitimate child Elizabeth, born in Marden.
She is recorded as Rebecca Usband in the 1861 census living at 1.Guildford Lawn, Ramsgaste, Kent. In 1871 she was listed as an un-employed servant at the home of her sister Elizabeth at 65 Upper Stone Street, Maidstone. In 1881 she was living with her sister's widowed husband William Coomber working as a house-keeper. In 1891 she was living at Municipal Ward, Stone Street, Maidstone working as a nurse. In 1901 she was at 66 Mote Road, Maidstone with her daughter Elizabeth.
She did not marry.
Rebecca's daughter Elizabeth Clifton Usborne was born in 1846 and raised in Marden. She was living with her mother and grand-father Alexander in 1851. She moved to live with her aunt Mary in Ashford by 1861.By 1881-1891 she was working at Holtby Hall, Ainderley, Myers-with-Holtby, N.Yorshire, working as a nurse, her occupation through 1901.She died January/March 1904 in Maidstone.
