Alice Esme Born April 30th 1902 at South Weald, Essex.
Esme qualified
as a nurse (M.C.S.P in 1930) and
later as a physiotherapist (Dip.T.P.in
1933).During WWII she helped rehabilitate RAF pilots who had survived
crashes.
Riding and horses were her passion. She assisted with the
setting up of Riding for the Disabled in the 1950’s.
She was a keen amateur photographer and gardener.
She lived at Fir Trees, Debden Green, Harts Hill,
Loughton, Essex.
