Elizabeth was buried at Linton November 2nd 1769.
Alexander buried at Linton on July 21st 1771.
Alex was raised in
East Farleigh. He married Elizabeth in Alresford. She was 3 years his
senior and pregnant at the time. Their name was recorded as
"Osborne"
By 1733 the family had moved to Linton. In his father's will of 1736
Alex inherited 20 shillings and there was mention of his having received
"his full share" of his father's property. In 1755 he was
described as a "Yeoman" and member of the Linton Parish
Council. By 1767 He was also "overseer of the poor" and a
church warden.
